Case Studies

Testable subsurface hypotheses, not generic project descriptions.

GAIA case studies follow a consistent logic: geological context, traditional challenge, AI interpretation, subsurface hypothesis and exploration value.

Kazakhstan Rybinsky Project

Copper-Gold · Porphyry
Copper-Gold · Porphyry

Context

Located in the Bukhar-Zhyrau District of Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan, the project lies within an accretionary arc and regional shear-zone setting associated with the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. The area contains favourable features including magmatic-hydrothermal activity, mineral-controlling structures, volcano-sedimentary host rocks and potential carbonate contact zones.

AI Interpretation

GAIA integrates remote-sensing alteration anomalies, structural interpretation, historical geological data and field observations to interpret the porphyry-skarn copper-gold system. Key evidence includes iron staining and gossan, phyllic alteration, silicification, propylitic alteration, mineral-controlling faults and the distribution of D-type veins.

Subsurface Hypothesis

Areas where multiple alteration and structural anomalies overlap may overlie a deeper porphyry copper-gold centre and copper-rich stockwork zones. Peripheral carbonate contacts may host skarn-related copper-gold mineralization, while shallow gold mineralization may occur within the upper or lateral parts of the system.

Exploration Value

The project demonstrates GAIA’s ability to convert AI-generated targeting into field geological validation, geophysical survey design and three-dimensional constraint of subsurface targets, supporting high-resolution magnetic surveys, 3D induced polarization and subsequent engineering verification.

Eldorado Project, Zimbabwe

Shear-Zone Gold
Shear-Zone Gold

Context

The project is related to shear-zone gold mineralization. Historical drilling is limited and surface cover makes deep potential difficult to judge.

AI Interpretation

GAIA combines regional structures, stress-field simulation, shear-zone models and multisource anomalies to reinterpret deep mineralization potential.

Subsurface Hypothesis

Potential blind mineralization may exist beyond known zones, especially along secondary NE structures and repeated deep structural belts.

Exploration Value

Shows target identification capability in low-data-density, high-cover terrains.

Hulubalang Project, Indonesia

Gold · Porphyry Copper-Gold
Gold · Porphyry Copper-Gold

Context

Located in the North Sulawesi hydrothermal gold and porphyry copper belt. Traditional analysis may focus mainly on shallow gold.

AI Interpretation

GAIA uses multimodal modeling and deep system inference to re-interpret structural, lithological and alteration relationships.

Subsurface Hypothesis

Shallow gold may represent the upper or lateral expression of a deeper porphyry copper-gold system.

Exploration Value

Shows deep resource inference, porphyry recognition, brownfield expansion and drilling direction optimization.

Risk Identification Before Investment

Investment Risk
Investment Risk

Context

Some mining projects reveal infrastructure, resource scale, economic or logistics issues only after acquisition or heavy spending.

AI Interpretation

GAIA can analyze early datasets, resource uncertainty, infrastructure constraints and economic feasibility risks.

Subsurface Hypothesis

Warning signals can be surfaced before heavy capital is committed.

Exploration Value

Moves stop-loss and decision quality earlier in the investment process.
