Position 02 · Geoscience

Senior Geologist

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the design of technical programs for geological exploration projects and apply AI algorithms to in-depth geological data analysis and modeling in support of mineral resource evaluation or geological hazard risk forecasting.
  2. Clean and preprocess geological data, perform feature engineering, and build geological knowledge bases and algorithm-training datasets aligned with business needs.
  3. Collaborate with the AI R&D team to translate geological expertise and domain logic into implementable technical requirements, driving the iterative improvement of geological AI products.
  4. Participate in field investigations and data acquisition for geological projects, and validate technical solutions under real geological conditions.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in geological engineering, geophysics, mineral exploration, or a related field, with more than five years of experience in geological exploration or mineral resource evaluation.
  2. Expertise in geological data processing; familiarity with geological modeling software such as Surpac and GOCAD and analytical tools such as Python or R. Experience applying AI algorithms, including machine learning or deep learning, to geoscience is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated ability to independently lead large geological projects and complete geological reports and technical-solution assessments.
  4. Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to connect geological specialists with AI technical teams.
Position 03 · Artificial Intelligence

Senior AI Algorithm Engineer

Responsibilities

  1. Research, develop, and optimize AI algorithms for mineral exploration, with a focus on intelligent analysis and feature extraction from geological data such as seismic, well-log, and remote-sensing data.
  2. Design and deploy machine-learning and deep-learning models for mineral prospectivity prediction, resource estimation, and anomaly detection to improve exploration efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Collaborate with geological exploration teams to translate business requirements into algorithmic solutions and implement the technology in real exploration projects.
  4. Track advances in areas such as computer vision and spatiotemporal sequence analysis, and explore innovative applications of AI in mineral exploration.

Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree or above in computer science, geophysics, geological engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in mathematics and algorithms.
  2. More than three years of machine-learning or deep-learning R&D experience; proficiency in at least one mainstream framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and familiarity with model architectures such as CNNs and Transformers.
  3. Experience processing geological data, such as seismic inversion or well-log analysis, or relevant industry project experience is preferred.
  4. Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to independently design and implement algorithmic solutions.
